Jean-Pierre Sergent (born in Morteau, France in 1958) is a French-American-Swiss artist. He developed his repertoire of artistic forms in the United States (New York, 1993-2003). He lives and works nowadays in Besançon, France. His work is exhibited internationally since the 1990s: in the United States, Canada, Europe, Iran and China. From 2019 to 2023, a monumental fresco of 72 paintings on Plexiglas, of 80 m2, “The Four Pillars of Heaven”, have been exhibited at the Museum of Fine Arts and Archaeology of Besançon. Since 2022, he his working on its new art print series: the Karma-Kali, Sexual Dreams & Paradoxes, which are one-of-a-kind silk-screened art prints on four different kind of paper, in large formats: 100 x 70 cm and 76 x 56 cm.
Known mainly for his large murales Plexiglas paintings installations and works on paper that depict largely forgotten techniques of transcendence, rituals, sexual and shamanic trances. Sergent’s iconographies are deeply rooted and inspired by his travels, his personal spiritual experiences and his reading about cave art, tribal cultures, eroticism, tantrism, mysticism, sexuality, nature, life cycles and cosmic momentum.
His work is understood as a vibrant tribute to the colossal vital energy deeply buried, repressed and forgotten in our nowadays post-cultural societies. The artist has likened his work to a tool, like a can opener or a hammer that forces and encourage the viewer to take an initiatory trip that would merges him within a world of pleasures and colors. Inside this sacred space, its artworks, that carries in itself all the unavoidable conflicts and tensions between Life and Death, beauty and ugliness, stillness and energies, flowers and harsh obscenities, rigorous geometrical patterns mixed with the arousal of eccentricity of life sexuality’s into the universal demiurgic chaos and void experienced by each living being.

Arthur Fischer-Colbrie
Arthur Fischer Colbrie wurde 1976 in Österreich geboren und verbrachte die ersten Lebensjahre auf einem kleinen Bauernhof südlich von Graz. Mit 11 Jahren nahm sein Leben eine Wende und es verschlug ihn auf einen anderen Kontinent. Paraguay und die anhaltenden Einflüsse dieses südamerikanischen Landes, an dem sein Herz bis heute noch hängt, prägen sein Wesen nachhaltig. Nachdem er seine künstlerische Motivation einige Jahre in Österreich zu einem echten Antrieb heranreifen ließ, ist der Künstler nun seit 2017 in der Schweiz ansässig und widmet sich in seinen Werken vorrangig der figurativen Pop Art und Variationen von abstraktem Expressionismus. Dabei lässt er sich weder in Darstellungsformen noch in Materialauswahl einengen und besticht mit seiner Herangehensweise an Experimente. Seine Gemälde, Graphiken und Skulpturen bieten Ideen-Vielfalt, Esprit und Tiefgang. Nach mehreren Ausstellungen werden einige seiner Werke nun fixer Bestandteil in unserem Verkaufs-Programm.
